The Ponoka Stampeders are very excited to have new Head Coach, Randy Rook on board. As an author of “Winning Strategies To Unleash the Champion Within”, and a graduate of Sports Management Worldwide, Randy brings years of playing, coaching, scouting, and management experience along with great leadership and team building qualities with him. With his new vision for the team, his enthusiasm and passion for the game, as well as bringing a winning system and tireless work ethic, the future looks very bright for the organization and the players.

Frank McEvoy, President and General Manager, announced that Art Krusel was stepping down as Head Coach and will be replaced by Mike Carlsen. Carlsen has been with the club for the last three seasons as the main Assistant Coach and Goalie Coach.
