DIDSBURY, AB - The Mountainview Colts couldn't go 2-for-2 on the weekend, dropping a 4-2 decision to the visiting Medicine Hat Cubs. Justin Martinuk had two goals to lead the Cubs, while Jay Stark chipped in with a goal and an assist. Goaltender Troy Wagner made 32 saves for the win, as the Cubs secure second place in the South Division.

OKOTOKS, AB - Three goals in the first period, followed by four in the second, and that was pretty much it for the Okotoks Bisons, as they crusied to an 8-2 victory over Coaldale. Jeff Derwent had four points in the game with a goal and three assists, while Joel Culver added three assists of his own. Goaltender Bryce Scherschel made 27 saves in the win.

RIMBEY, AB - Fresh off an 8-1 spanking in Aridrie, the Wranglers returned to action Sunday night, handing the Rimbey Rock an 8-1 loss of their own. The Wranglers top line of Kurtis Ross, David Jantzie and Kyle Maas were at it again, scoring all eight goals for the Wranglers. Blackfalds can clinch first overall with a victory Tuesday night at home against the Mountainview Colts.
