CASTOR, AB - In what was a back and forth affair, the numbers were a telling stat in this one. Cubs goaltender Troy Wagner was absolutely peppered in this one, as the Stettler Lightning fired 57 shots on goal, with Wagner stopping all but four pucks. That would turn out to be the different as Medicine Hat earned the victory 5-4. After a three goal second period, the Cubs saw their lead vanish in the third as Tyson Glazier scored his second goal of the year to even this up at four. But less than two minutes later Jay Stark's 13th of the campaign put Medicine Hat up for good.

OKOTOKS, AB - It was a battle of the top two teams in the Heritage League, and it was the Blackfalds Wranglers who scored a small hint of revenge as they doubled up the Okotoks Bisons 4-2. The Bisons are the only team to have handed the Wranglers a loss this season, and the battle of the league's best was close throughout, but it was the Wranglers scoring a win on the road. Despite allowing four goals, Bisons' goaltender Christian Chivilo was sensational in this one, making a number of staggering saves to keep Okotoks close.
